The property is situated in a prestigious residential area of Mougins, a charming little town favored by artists and celebrities, only a fifteen minute drive away from glamorous Cannes, with its attractive sand beaches and luxury designer shops. Mougins is also surrounded by outstanding natural features such as the Parc de Valmasque and the Étang de Fontmerle, a beautiful pond which hosts the largest lotus colony in Europe, with flowers blooming between late June and mid-September. The town itself is planted with a variety of local trees, including pine trees, olive trees and cypresses.

As you enter the old bastide, the entrance hall leads up the stairs to the living area where you will find the lounge with an imposing feature fireplace, and a dining area with elegant Louis XVI inspired table and chairs, upholstered in a classic plain grey fabric. From this room you can also enter the office area with its private terrace and views over the old town of Mougins. The property benefits from many traditional Provençal features such as exposed beams, tomette floor tiles, terracotta roof tiles and wooden louvered shutters. Tastefully decorated in neutral tones of beige, grey and white, the house is a prime example of French elegance, with a style that is luxurious yet understated, chic, timeless and modern. The chandeliers and bifurcated staircase add a touch of grandeur to the property, while the large rugs, comfortable throws and fluffy cushions scattered on the sofa and armchairs give it a cozy and intimate feel, making you feel right at home. The fourth and fifth bedroom, on the ground floor, both feature a double bed and en-suite bathroom, and the last bedroom has two single beds and an en-suite shower room. You will find plenty of natural light, comfortable mattresses and luxury bed linen in all of the bedrooms, while the bathrooms and shower rooms feature traditional stone tiles and luxury modern fixtures.

Both the lounge and snug areas lead out to the covered terrace, complete with elegant and comfortable outdoor furniture padded with plenty of extra cushions for your comfort. The pool and terrace area is large, surrounded by palm trees and greenery, and offers a fantastic sea view over the Bay of Cannes and the surrounding towns.
